Welcome to the Bedrock Bonus Chest Challenge, a custom-tailored survival map created by Banclam! If you think standard superflat survival is too easy, prepare to test your resourcefulness on a world made entirely of solid, unbreakable bedrock.
Normally, relying on a random vanilla bonus chest to spawn enough wood for a slime-spawning platform is an exhausting gamble. To eliminate the tedious restart loops, this custom map provides a meticulously balanced starter chest containing absolutely everything you need to kick off your journey. There is also a slime chunk marked for you! The world is set to standard survival mode to keep things accessible, but if the community requests a hardcore variation, a punishing one-life version can be forged!
The Sky Cache Mystery
Look directly up! High above your spawn point floats a single block supporting a mysterious, hidden chest. As soon as you can gather enough building materials to tower up to it, you will unlock vital, game-changing resources:
- Lava Bucket and Ice Block: Your ticket to a standard cobblestone generator.
- Oak Tree Sapling: Your primary renewable source of wood and apples.
- Dirt Block: Essential for growing your crops and trees.
- Grass Block: The crown jewel of your new world.
The Golden Rule: Keep Off The Grass!
Treat this map like a high-stakes skyblock experience. Space and resources are brutally limited, and your survival hinges on protection:
- Guard Your Grass: Place the grass block in a secure, protected area.
- Farm For Seeds: Use bonemeal directly on your grass block to safely harvest grass seeds for farming.
- Permanent Loss: If you accidentally destroy your grass block or lose your lava source, they are gone forever. There are no second chances!
